ZETAKY – TERMS & CONDITIONS
These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through the ZETAKY website. By placing an order, the customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions and the policies referenced on this website.
1. PRODUCTS
ZETAKY designs and supplies electric violins, including instruments available from stock and instruments manufactured or personalised to order.
Product photographs, descriptions and specifications are provided as accurately as possible. Minor variations in colour, finish, materials or appearance may occur and do not necessarily constitute a defect.
2. PRICES & PAYMENT
Prices are displayed in the currency indicated on the website or at checkout.
In-stock instruments require full payment before dispatch.
For instruments that are not in stock or are made-to-order or personalised, a 30% deposit of the total purchase price is required to confirm the order and begin production.
The remaining 70% must be paid in full before dispatch.
3. MADE-TO-ORDER & PERSONALISED INSTRUMENTS
Production time for made-to-order or personalised ZETAKY instruments is up to 30 days from receipt of the 30% deposit and confirmation of the final specifications.
Before production begins, the customer is responsible for checking and approving the requested model, colour, configuration and other personalised specifications.
Once the specifications have been confirmed and production has started, changes may not be possible. Any changes accepted by ZETAKY may result in additional charges and/or additional production time.
4. CANCELLATION OF CUSTOM ORDERS
Once production of a made-to-order or personalised instrument has started, the order cannot normally be cancelled because the customer has changed their mind.
The 30% deposit becomes non-refundable once production has started, except where otherwise required by applicable law or expressly agreed by ZETAKY.
This does not affect the customer’s rights where an instrument is defective, damaged or does not correspond to the confirmed order.
5. SHIPPING & DELIVERY
ZETAKY ships internationally.
In-stock instruments are prepared for dispatch following receipt of full payment.
For made-to-order or personalised instruments, shipping time is additional to the production period of up to 30 days.
Delivery times vary according to destination, carrier, customs procedures and circumstances outside ZETAKY’s reasonable control.
Tracking information will be provided where available.
6. CUSTOMS, TAXES & IMPORT DUTIES
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT or other charges imposed by the destination country.
Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, these charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the product or shipping price.
7. RETURNS & REFUNDS
Eligible standard instruments purchased from stock may be returned within 14 days of delivery, subject to our Return & Refund Policy.
The instrument must be returned in its original condition with its original accessories and packaging.
Made-to-order and personalised instruments are subject to the special cancellation and return conditions described above and in our Return & Refund Policy.
8. WARRANTY
ZETAKY electric violins are covered by a 2-Year International Limited Warranty from the original date of purchase, subject to the conditions of the ZETAKY Warranty Policy.
The electronics compartment must not be opened, removed, modified or tampered with by the customer or an unauthorised person.
Unauthorised intervention, modification or repair may invalidate warranty coverage for faults or damage resulting from or connected with that intervention.
Proof of purchase and the instrument’s serial number may be required for warranty claims.
9. DEFECTIVE, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS
If an instrument arrives damaged, is defective or does not correspond to the confirmed order, the customer should contact ZETAKY as soon as possible.
ZETAKY may request photographs, video, proof of purchase, serial number and other reasonable information necessary to assess the claim.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, ZETAKY may provide an appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The ZETAKY name, trademarks, logos, product designs, photographs, videos, graphics and website content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
They may not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without prior written authorisation from ZETAKY, except where permitted by law.
11. ORDER ACCEPTANCE
ZETAKY reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order where there is an obvious pricing or product-information error, suspected fraudulent activity, payment failure, product unavailability or another legitimate reason.
If ZETAKY cancels an order after receiving payment and production has not commenced, any amount due to the customer will be refunded.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ZETAKY shall not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses or delays caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights where doing so is prohibited by applicable law.
13. PRIVACY & PAYMENTS
Personal information is processed in accordance with the ZETAKY Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection requirements.
Payments may be processed by independent payment providers. ZETAKY does not require customers to provide payment-card details directly outside the authorised payment process.
14. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
ZETAKY may update these Terms & Conditions when necessary. The version applicable to an order will be the version in effect when that order is placed, subject to applicable law.
15. INTERNATIONAL CONSUMER RIGHTS
ZETAKY sells internationally.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or replaces mandatory consumer rights that apply under the laws of the customer’s country or region.
